Yes, with a disc image you own. Play! reports Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as fully playable, and Play! runs in a browser. Use our browser emulator. Which Marvel vs. Capcom 2 disc should you use?
The Play! tracker has one entry for this game: the NTSC-U disc (SLUS-20486), listed as Playable and tested in March 2018. The report describes it as fully playable, with minor slowdowns and visual glitches.
No PAL or Japanese disc has been reported, so there is nothing on the tracker to compare it against. Because the report is several years old and the tracker covers Play! on every platform, browser results may differ. If you own a disc from another region, there is no tracker data to say how it behaves.

About Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (PS2)
Capcom made Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, a crossover fighter. It debuted in arcades in 2000 as the fourth installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom series, which mixes characters from Capcom's video game franchises with heroes and villains from Marvel Comics. Ports followed on Dreamcast in 2000, then on PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2002.
Wikipedia notes that the character art uses traditional 2D-animated sprites while backgrounds and effects are rendered in 3D, making it the series' first 2.5D entry. Matches switched to teams of three, with a new assist system and a simpler control scheme than the previous game. Critics acclaimed the gameplay, visuals, and roster but criticized the soundtrack, the initial lack of online play outside Japan, and game balance. Afterward Capcom lost the use of the Marvel license, and the series paused until Marvel vs. Capcom 3 arrived in 2011.

How Marvel vs. Capcom 2 plays
Each player picks a team of three characters, and only one fights at a time. Team members can be tagged in at any point. A Variable Assist system lets you call an off-screen teammate for a single special move, and every character has three assist types. Assisting characters take extra damage if hit, and teammates waiting off-screen slowly regain life. A match ends when one team has lost all three fighters, or the timer runs out and the side with more health left wins.
As characters deal and take damage, a Hyper Combo Gauge fills. A full gauge pays for hyper combos, delayed hyper combos that chain several in a row, and variable combinations that call the whole team to attack together. A new snapback move forces the opponent to switch characters. The control layout was simplified to four attack buttons plus two for assists.
Modes include Arcade, where you beat seven AI-controlled teams before facing the final boss Abyss, plus Versus for two players, Training, and Score Attack. All endings are the same regardless of who you use. The roster has 56 playable characters, including three new ones. In some console versions 24 start unlocked and the rest are bought in the Secret Factor menu with points earned through play.
