Open Rings
Picture a jumble of faceted rings, bars and locks holding gems in place. Your job is to take it apart without any piece crashing into another. Levels start gently and turn trickier, 384 in all. Bombs, locks and boosters like Hammer, Hint and Firework keep things varied, and a daily gift refills your boosters. It runs in 12 languages on phone or desktop.
How to play Open Rings
- Drag around a ring to rotate it.
- Double-tap a ring to return it, or hold still for 1 second to return every ring.
- Tap a booster in the bottom bar when you need it.
- Zoom in or out with the plus and minus buttons.
Tips
- Locks open on their own once the other pieces have left the board.
What we saw when we played Open Rings
When we opened Open Rings on October 15, 2026, on a desktop browser, the game loaded straight into Level 1 with a "How to play" card already open over the board. The backdrop is a deep purple-blue starfield with a back arrow and the label "Level 1" at top left, a gem counter showing 0 plus a fullscreen button and a pause button at top right, and a small gold "Claim your daily gift!" tag near the top center. Along the bottom sit an undo arrow, booster buttons (Hammer, Hint and Firework, with badges reading 3, 3 and 2) and a settings-style button. Behind the card we could see curved, spiked purple pieces and a zoom control reading 100%.
The card walks through the same controls the game's own instructions describe: drag around a ring's center to rotate it, double-tap to put a ring back, and hold still for 1 s to reset every ring. It adds that on desktop you scroll to zoom and drag the background to pan, explains each booster, and says rings hiding a diamond award 18 gems when first removed. A yellow Resume button closes it. Our clicks did not dismiss the card, so all five frames show the same tutorial screen and we never saw the board unobstructed or a ring being turned. Because of that, we can't say how the puzzles feel to play beyond what this first screen shows; the instructions are clear and the interface looked clean and readable.

Open Rings FAQ
How do you start a level in Open Rings?
The game opened on Level 1 with a How to play card over the board. Press the yellow Resume button, or the close icon in the card's corner, to reach the puzzle, then drag around a ring's center to rotate it.
What do the buttons at the bottom of Open Rings do?
On screen we saw an undo arrow plus Hammer, Hint and Firework buttons. The tutorial says the Hammer smashes a piece you tap, the Hint shows a good move, and the Firework clears a random piece.
Does Open Rings have a tutorial?
Yes. A How to play card appeared automatically on Level 1, covering rotating rings, putting them back, zooming and panning on desktop, boosters and diamond gems. It stays on screen until you press Resume.
