Taiga: Expedition
Taiga: Expedition is a cozy physics-based offroad delivery game. You drive vintage trucks through mud, fords and forest forks, carrying logs and cargo to the sawmill. Loads sway and can fly off on bumps, so gentle throttle, brake and steering keep them aboard. Five trucks and a set of upgrades are on offer, along with 50 routes where you can earn stars.
How to play Taiga: Expedition
- Press W or Up for throttle and S or Down to brake or reverse.
- Steer with A and D or Left and Right.
- Press Space for the handbrake and P to pause.
- In the Garage, drag the mouse to rotate the truck.
- On touch screens, touch anywhere for a floating joystick.

- Feather the throttle, brake and steering to keep cargo on board.
What we saw when we played Taiga: Expedition
When we opened Taiga: Expedition on October 15, 2026, on a desktop browser, we landed on a dimmed main menu with a tutorial card on top titled YOUR MISSION and numbered 1/3. It said we were a taiga trucker hauling a loaded truck bed from the village to the sawmill across rough off-road terrain. Two short tips followed: carry the cargo gently because logs and crates try to fall off on the bumps, and reach the finish, since more cargo and faster times earn more stars and coins. At the bottom were a Skip button and an orange NEXT button.
Behind the card we could make out a vertical menu on the left with DRIVE, GARAGE, MAP, TUNING, ACHIEVEMENTS and SETTINGS, a stat panel for the truck on the right, a currency bar along the top and a mission strip at the bottom with a second DRIVE button. The background was a low-poly pine forest with the dark shape of a truck in the foreground, and it shifted slowly from frame to frame. The tutorial card stayed on page 1 of 3 in all five frames, so we did not see any driving or cargo physics. The warm orange accents against the dark forest made the menu look polished, though the dimmed text behind the card was hard to read.

Is there a tutorial in Taiga: Expedition?
Yes. A YOUR MISSION card opened on top of the menu on page 1/3, with Skip and NEXT buttons. It explains hauling cargo to the sawmill and carrying it gently over bumps.
What can you do from the main menu?
We saw DRIVE, GARAGE, MAP, TUNING, ACHIEVEMENTS and SETTINGS on the left side, with a mission strip and another DRIVE button at the bottom. We did not open any of them.
